Juventus To Sign Stankovic Soon
Its has been reported by Corriere dello Sport that Dejan Stankovic is about to sign for Juve worth around 3.5 Million Euros a year, plus bonuses.
After having a fantastic 2006-07 season, Stankovic was very poor last season and dor the most part was left out of the team. Now with Mourinho at the helm of Inter, the nerazzurri are looking at making a few changes, with Dejan being one of them.
After a great season back in Serie A, Juventus are now ready to slap the cash in order to really challenge for the scudetto and the Champions League next season.
Other players which they have been tracking, include Huntelaar and Podolski with both players stating their interest to join the Turin giants.
There has also been speculation raised over Trezeguet, with Barca looking very interested in buying the Frenchman. However Juve have stamped a 25 million euro tag onto the striker, which may be more then the Catalans will be willing to spend.
In addition, Xabi Alonso also seems very close to signing for Juve however the two clubs are yet to come to an agreement over the selling price.
